Short double barreled

Howdy
First post here.
Shot a hammerless coach size double yesterday.
Even hit some clays.
Looking for advise on where to find a functional and inexpensive
one.
Thank You for any help.

Welcome to the board!!

Ain't coach guns just a hoot?!!
The Stoeger line has to be the winner in this catagory,at least for me.My long barreled UPlander just keeps on putting 'em out there. They're usuallly pretty stiff out of the box....I think all doubles are from what I've read...but they soon loosen up.They're also a bit slimmer and trimmer than some of the Russian or Turkish doubles.

Gotta go with the Stoeger too. Have one and with just a little work is about as slick as you can find. Used it mainly for cowboy till my wife took it but have also shot some skeet and hunted with it. Fun little gun. Most shops in this area have them for about 300-350 depending on the exact model, Stoegre makes several diffrent ones depending on finish, some of which look real good.

Two good reports on stoeger.

I live in Hawaii and there is no stocking dealer on my island.
Any info on a shop or wholeseller that has has them in stock in this price range would be super helpful.I have my ffl bring stuff in.

Thank You for the welcome.

Gaucho1 - Check and see if there are any stocking Benelli dealers in the islands. Stoeger is owned by Benelli and a Benelli dealer "should" be able to get one for you.

Thanks Laz
The few dealers that stock on the main island are
way overpriced.
I try and do my homework a have my ffl bring it in.
Great help.

Hey Guys
Thanks for all the feedback.
I will order a spartan with 20 in. barrels,double triggers,blue barrels,
a bling nickle receiver,and walnut stocks.Hammerless.
I think it comes with screw-in chokes.
$300 with shipping a 50 state flat rate of $18.The Gun Source.
Talked to a nice young man, straight and easy.
I shot one and they are clean, solid and SHORT.
Russian, now marketed by remington, may be Baikal.
I am an AK nut,but I really like these short doubles.
I will report in about a week.
