milstor shatter disc?

I have 10 of these things laying around that i purchased from turners outdoorsman several years ago. I have fired some, at things like refrigerators, phone books etc. and i was not overly impressed with the trauma they produced on my highly scientific targets.

so i guess my question is are these things any good? i dont imagine they have a whole lot of range but from the picture on the box of balistic gel i sure would not want to be hit with one.

i did a search on google for info and came back with two april fools stories so i am cuirous if they are not around and if so is it because their product was so leathal that they were legislated out of existance, or because their product was so poor that they faded away.

Just curious.
