AZ Appleseeds, 2010!

Folks, we have an Appleseed Shoot this coming weekend in the Phoenix metro area, January 30-31.

It's at the Joe Foss Shooting Complex, out in Buckeye. Great facility.

Come on out!

Learn to hit a 4 minute-of-angle target from actual field positions, and get off the bench. Learn how to properly use a sling, how to build stability in field positions, the six steps of firing a shot, what "natural point of aim" is and how to sight your rifle in, with 10 shots or less.

Learn about the heritage of the Rifleman, and how to wake up your sleeping neighbors for the good of the country and to honor our forefathers.

Hope to see you there!

The next AZ Appleseed is at Buckeye again, the Joe Foss Shooting Complex. February 20-21.

Come on out and see what all the excitement is about!

Yeah, we have one coming up in April. Just received my Tech Sights today. My plan is to buy a Marlin 795 and take advantage of that $25 rebate. I have a Glenfield Model 60, but heard magazine fed rifles are much easier to use.

Folks, the Buckeye Feb 20-21 is probably going to have a long(er) range component to it.

We're PROVING that the 25 meter work you do, works out further!

Rimfire shooters will shoot the AQT from 25/50/75/100 yards on appropriately reduced size targets at one point rather than at 25 meters the entire time.

Centerfire shooters will shoot the AQT from 50/100/150/200 yards on appropriately reduced sized targets at one point rather than 25 meters the entire time.

(200's the farthest we can get out of this facility).

Think you know your come-ups/downs? Your BSZ (Battle-sight-zero) all configured for your rifle? Come and find out!

And, keep in mind: In 1775, Morgan's Rifle Company members earned membership in their unit by hitting a target the size of a mounted British officer's head at 250 yards. With black powder front-stuffing rifled flintlocks.

How are YOU from real field positions at true known distances?

So, we've got 4 Appleseeds in Kingman this year.

Each and every one of them will involve a known-distance component out to 500 yards. Kingman has the facilities for this and has reserved them for us.

It is a very windy environment, which is excellent for a class rather than a competition.

Come on out, learn to shoot with your sling, from field positions rather than the bench, and learn WHY an American should always maintain his skills as a Rifleman, and WHY doing that honors the founders of this country.
