Field-stripping a Benelli M1S90
Gents,
I was stripping down my Benelli S90 last night and I got to the point in the manual where it says to remove the littlecocking handle (charging lever?) on the bolt. How do you do this (the doohickey I'm talking about is the little tab that sticks off of the bolt that you use when you want pull the bolt back). The manual says strip it off. How? easier said than done. I tugged on it for about 20 minutes last night and nothing! GHB

Pull it...HARD. Use eye protection when it comes flying up at you
I recommend using dental floss, string, or maybe the rope of your boresnake to pull it out. I scratched the receiver on mine from using a multitool to yank it. Big mistake.

I use the magasin-barrel clamp to pry the handle out.
Just put the clamp under the handle and flip it out. Easily done without leaving any marks.

Thanks. I used a shoelace. I just needed confirmation before I started forcing stuff out of my $800 shotgun.
