CZ P07

Not a long review. I'll just say after picking one up Gander with a CZ monted light I took it to the range out of the box. After 270'rounds of IMA ammo with no jams it just became my favorite Polly pistol. Cross Bread super tuck ordered. $507 with rail mounted light included

Glad you like it. I will be picking mine up on Friday and taking it out shooting the week after.

Can't wait!

The CZ addiction is almost as bad as the 1911 addiction.

At least it's cheaper.

Love the p07 as well as all cz's and some of the clones as well. If I have any complaint with the p07 is the cost of magazines, other than that it's one of my favs to shoot and carry.

I won't be burying mine in the sand, but I'll probably post a video when I make it to the range in a couple weeks.

The wife and I are going for our anniversary.

Canik Stingray-C 9mm 15rd Magazine work perfectly in the P-07 and sell for about $25 each. I got mine from J&G Sales. Delivered quickly, with a $9.95 shipping fee. Look for the Canik Stingray-C mags. (Not everybody carries them.)

For those with the Sphinx SDP, the Canik mags work there, too -- but you may have to sand the top of the mag baseplate a bit (removed from the mag) to get it to fit properly. Takes a few minutes, at most.

Thank you very much Walt. Always very informative.. I'll look into some of those Canik mags.

You may have to search long and hard -- as they're not easily found. When I found mine (at J&G Sales), it was by accident.

Good luck.

(I found some today on a 'net site, but they wanted $40 each -- so there was no advantage there.)

For range use (not carry), standard CZ mags will work ... they'll just stick out a bit. For the P-09, however, you'll just be SOL.

Just went over 1000 rounds today with mine, still flawless. I prefer my PPQ as a range gun but the P07 is my CCW. Not comfortable with a light trigger as a ccw, so the P07 is my new favorite. Hope your your experiance is the same, awesome gun.

Thanks, yep I hope mine runs flawless like yours...... I have a lot of striker fired handguns,..... but I have owned a lot of hammerfired handguns in the past and like them a lot also. They both have their good points..!

I'm not much of a cross poster, but I will this time. The P07 is an amazing pistol.

My P07 survived hot Monarch ammo. Problematic lot is 24,69,71,74,76,77 (1645).

Wow, Leaveammoforme, did only a few of those rounds fired in the video flash big? Or did they all flash with some flashing between video frames?

There were 3 or 4 hot rounds in the video. It was random. I had several on the previous stage as well which is why one guy started recording.
