high(er)-cap mags for USP .45

are there any (standard or after market, I don't care) mags for the USP series in .45 exceeding 12rds? I got a good offer for a used Tactical, but I#m used to the higher cap of 9mm and just wondered whether there is an option to stuff a little more rds into even a .45...

It's not a 9mm, you won't be able to fit as many rounds. Physics denies it!

To my knowledge no, there is not. If 12 rds of anything isn't enough to stop the threat, time to start retreating IMO. If it's for around the home, keep a spare mag loaded as well.

Indeed, purchasing an entirely different gun in a different caliber is a solution.
