SHTF Bodyarmor

Hello everyone. I've been paying more attention to possible SHTF senarios with all the riots in London and QE3 on the way. So I thought it might be good to invest in a vest.

I saw this one on Midway but reviews say the coverage isn't too good.

So what do you guys think is a good system? I don't train much in a weaver stance so if they make something that would cover my sides that would be desireable.

I'm an armor noob so I don't know much about it.

Any advise would be appreciated!

I'm a full time cop. I bought my current vest off ebay. I wear it almost daily. Pretty satisfied with the fit. Nothing in this line is really comfortable tho. Especially on hot humid days in the South.

Look around and see what u can find. U Pays ur money, u takes ur choice. Almost any armor is better than a t shirt!

The stuff you're linked too would be better than nothing in a OH-NO situation, but no side coverage. If you like it, go for it. You can certainly customize the cover.
