.44 mag load data.........HELP thanks
I can't seem to find load data for 220gr plated. I have a couple of books (which I'm thinking might be outdated) which are 5 years old and have checked online and still cant find what I'm looking for. I have Unique which I'm trying to save for my 45's but loaded up 100 240gr .44mag. I have Bullseye, H110 (300gr xtp's) and some Greendot. I've found a load for 200gr using Greendot and Bullseye but cant find the load data for a 220gr bullet and for that matter the only one I have for my 240gr is Unique. I also have a few 210gr swc hp and some 300gr xtp's. I'm shooting these through my Vaquero 5 1/2" so I know it can handle a little kick. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone knows a good online site or a good book I could get or just flat out has the info. Many thanks

Plated bullets should be held to a maximum velocity of around 1200 fps, which is a pretty light load with a 220 grain bullet. With the powders you have on hand, 8.0 - 8.5 grains of Green Dot should get you close to that velocity.
