suppressor stamp

Hi: I need some advise or input on how long someone should have to wait to hear back about recieving my suppressor stamp. I am in Michigan, my dealer sent in my $200.00 4 Months ago. The check was cashed right away, but still no stamp so I can purchase my suppressor.

P.S. I hope this thread is in the right place.

Rumor has it, these days its a 6 month wait. Im waiting too, and about as far into the wait as you. It is what it is, as annoying as the wait is.

If you have the serial number of your suppressor, you can call the ATF and find out the "status" of the application. 6 months is the standard. I just got some form 4's back last week. 193 days from date signed and sent to received.

I am just under 1 month in to mine. They cashed the check very fast bot now im in for a long wait. I have been spending the time developing sub-sonic loads for this gun. I have a little fear that I wont have my suppressor by hunting season

I just looked up suppression for some pricing, considering the possibility of using one for 'yote hunting...OUCH! Price tags are a wee bit high for my blood.

A long wait

My last two forms were right at or just over 5 months, from the check cashed date.

I have a similar entry in my computer as well. When I get home, I'll post it up too.
