Hi all
Does anyone know who chrome lines AR15 barrels? Does any one do Stellite(sp) lining? Patrick Graham |

Jeez; I don't know about chrome lining; it is not the most desireable thing to have on a rifle, you often sacrifice some accuracy for additional corrosion resistance.
As far as Stellite, I doubt that a Cobalt-Chromium alloy could be successfully applied to a gun barrel, but ask Stellite del Oro directly: Deloro Stellite, Inc. PO Box 5300 Bellville, ON K8N 5C4 P: (800) 267-2886 F: (800) 565-4407 Walt |

Haven't a lot of machine gun barrels had stellite chambers or chambers & bores?

The M-60's Uncle Sam had used to have stellite-lined barrels and I think the M-14's did as well; or so they told us. I think that the M-16 did not.
