Dug mine out of the back of the safe and measured the twist rate. It's 1 turn in 16 inches, or 1:16.

Are you thinking about buying one? I'm just curious what you would be doing where the twist would be of interest.

Romanian twist

I have some Aquila SSS ammo that needs faster twist.
And just a naturally curious person.
Gun "crank" since childhood, the details matter.

Ah. That makes sense.

I'm not aware of any guns that will shoot that ammunition very well without a barrel change.

You've got a couple of options:

Get a 10/22 and then find a 1:9 twist replacement barrel for it. There are a few places selling them.

If you have an AR in .223/5.56 with a barrel twist of 1:9 or faster, you can get a .22LR conversion kit for it.
