Question about laser bore sighting an AK.
I know normally bore sites tooled are used for optics like scopes, but can they be used for irons on something like an AK?

Sure. A boresight is literally the view of exactly where the bore is looking by either placing a camera, optics or a laser inside the bore, showing the exact point of impact if external forces like gravity or wind (and 20+ other factors) didn’t affect the projectile.

This is a Romanian SAR-1, and for some reason the laser is hitting high and right. Like an extreme. With the Yugo SKS it is coming out straight.
