ok new gun, need some opinions
I am wanting to load some 240 weatherby mag. Any one load for these?Need help picking powder-bullets, and any tips on loading them. Probably just hunting white tail, and targets. I have been reloading for years but havent loaded any of these, so let me have it Thanks a bunch Also where to get brass for this cal. thanks

My brother has one. I'm loading real close to max 100gr Noslers with H4831. Accuracy has been right at 1/2" at 100 yds. I have no clue where he came up with the brass but I would expect Midway to have it.......if you can afford it. I looked but I apparently didn't write it in the logbook but I loaded some 75gr HP Winchester bullets for that rifle too. Accuracy was near one hole at 100 yds. Problem with it was you can't shoot thru a spider web with it- the bullet blows up when it touches anything. As I remember, velocity was like 3700'ps and the Winchester bullets were mighty thin skinned. I used IMR4350 for that load. Interesting round. You should have fun working with it.

Try some Combined Technology 95gr Ballistic Silvertips and H4831 or RE19.
