VIDEO: Daniel Defense Rifles - What do you think?

So, what do you guys think of Daniel Defense rifles? I bought a M4V1 and have really enjoyed it, has performed very well, love the rail system. I know Vickers is their paid spokesman, but that torture test he did on it for them was pretty amazing. I think actually it was a great plug for Aimpoint Micro as well!

Who else has a Daniel Defense rifle?

Here's a link to the Vickers' torture test.

Here's a link to a quick video demonstrating the DD M4V1 in action.

I have a V4 and it has been great, no issues. I don't use it as much as my S&W, but mainly due to the Smith was already broken in and ran great. If I ever wear the Smith out, the DD will see some serious use. I cannot say one bad thing about them.

If I knew when I bought it, what I know now, I would have opted for flat top receiver, but my V1 has performed like a champ and I've probably put about 5k rounds through it, so far, so good.

The only thing that has happened is the extractor broke, after I put a lot of steel case stuff through it in one range session.

People think that the AR15 is a prom queen and can't take any abuse. Others think that it needs to be spotlessly clean to be reliable.

This is a demonstration of how much dirt the AR can take and still work. Unlike other demos, I don't just shovel dirt onto the rifle, I also put dirt into the rifle.

I also load the PMAG with dirt.

I would say the AR is able to handle more dirt than many people give it credit for.

I think they're great AR's. Congratulations.

I really appreciate the fact that even though Vickers is a spokesman for the company, his top three choices of AR are Colt, DD and BCM not necessarily in that order of course.

You're also right about the Aimpoint Micro, it's one tough red dot.
(I have a T1 mounted on a Colt 6940 and love it.)

I sold my Comp M4 so I could get a Micro. I picked up the Comp M4 used and turned it around for what I paid for it, so...cool.
