Help please, What's this?
Hello all!
Another new guy here. I'm just getting started at reloading, doing a lot of reading and such. I got a bunch of reloading gear (Hornady Pro-Jector and accessories) and found the following part in the box but don't know what it is for. It's aluminum, has a steep taper on one end and a shallow taper on the other. It's 1.1295 " long (playing with my new calipers ). I'm guessing it has something to do with powder. TIA Thing.jpg |

It looks like some type of a powder funnel or attachments.

It's the powder drop tube when the powder measure is used as a stand alone. They screw into the bottom of the measure and the empty case held against it and powder is dropped into the case.

Bingo! Powder measure nozzle. It screws into the powder measure so powder can be measured directly into the cases. A lot of folks who use extruded powders take them off to eliminate bridging issues.
