The rimfire handgun I shoot most is my Korth, the rest is just ... inventory.

Missing Old Guns
I have a few that I miss myself. The usual sold by a ex-wife while I was on assignment. She became an ex shortly afterwards but we will leave that alone in the past where it belongs. I've bought plenty since then.
Nice looking Korth though. |

I only own one .22 handgun: an H&R Model 999 Sportsman with a 6" barrel. While I enjoy that gun and appreciate the usefulness of a good .22 handgun, rimfires have never been my primary area of interest and, as such, I've never felt the need for more than one.

Looks like I need to get to the gun shop... all I have is ruger mark II bought new by me in the mid 1980's. Next one will be a revolver of some type. Something tells me I better get that handled soon

My 22 caliber handguns
I have managed to fill a rack with 22 caliber handguns. Some I am quite attached to, and others I bought to resell to finance other purchases.My two current favorites, mainly for their accuracy and feel in my hand are-
S & W 22A semi-Auto and Taurus Model 990 4" SS here they are I have two FIE Single Action 22's. One is a regular "Buffalo Scout" model, and the other is a Gold-Plated version called "The Yellow Rose of Texas" Model Here it is- Add to this a Rossi early Model 70, an Iver Johnson SIDEWINDER that I sold today on GunsAmerica, and a couple of Older Taurus revolvers. |

Not bad at all IdahoMike (don't short yourself).
Now the last I heard about ol' 'Slim Pickens' is that he's kinda making himself an 'unwelcome guest' in many a folks home nowadays .

I've never made a full list, just a couple favorites, so here's what attracted me enough to buy;
Colt Woodsman Match Target 6". My very first gun. A jewel. Browning Field 5.5. Very nice gun S&W 622 Walther PPK/S Daewoo DP22, next to the Colt, my favorite plinker. American Arms PX22 Beretta 948 Bersa T22 Firestorm FS22, 6" barrel. Walther P22 Sig Mosquito Colt Frontier Scout Walther TPH, a very nice gun S&W K22, very sweet trigger. Beretta NEOS GSG 1911-22, my newest purhase. So far, so good. Last edited by PSP; July 19, 2012 at 06:50 AM. |

My 'collection' is meager, but loved.
Colt Frontier Scout - came with .22 Magnum cylinder, don't really shoot it much as it is Grandpa's revolver, more of a family thing than an everyday shooter. Smith & Wesson M&P 22 -bought it Monday, love it. That pistol will see many, many rounds in its future.

highpower3006,
Classic and beautiful guns that made/make America proud ! One can debate which country makes the best semis, but no one can doubt that the U.S. has been the world's greatest designer/manufacturer of Revolvers. That said, I was just going to ask you how old is the ammo in the pic? -Cheers
