Cheapest place to get lead shotgun shot

Can any one tell me where the cheapest place to get lead shot for shotshell reloading, the cheapest I can find it for is thru midway and is 78 bux for 50 lbs. Im trying to get my shell cost down to under 20 cents a shell, any help would be greatly appriciated, or any adive to simply cut costs

Pay a visit to one of the local trap ranges or shooting clubs near you and see if they will sell you some of theirs. They usually make one or two bulk purchase each year. Cabelas was $32 per 25#.

Google Rotometals they even have reclaimed dirty for "ship ballast" cleans up good though !!!

A club I belonged to a few years ago allowed members to purchase from the clay bird supplier.

Was a good deal-supposed to have been 'wholesale' no freight and in lead shot that can add up in a hurry. Primers and powder were a deal.

Most gun clubs either sell the shot in their clubhouse, or allow folks to go in a bulk buy (by the ton), and then divvy it up. Currently, Gamaliel has shot for 31/bag, we have locally made shot at 28, and then there is reclaimed running around $25. Buying it and having it shipped, unless you buy buy yht ton, isn't really cost-effective
