Sling Clips for Milsurps?

I'm looking for a clip to let me quickly attach and detach a sling to some of my milsurps. Specifically, I've got a K31 and I want to be able to quickly detach the sling from the rear sling mount. I'm going to use it for hunting, and the sling being on the left side of the stock gets in the way of a solid cheek weld.

Anyone have any ideas? I'll be using a standard M1907 service sling.

I would install standard sling swivel studs in the normal locations and dispense with the "interesting" sling location the K31 has.

Then you can use the sling as an aid to aiming instead of using it only as a carrying strap.

If the profile of the stud sticking out is unattractive, Uncle Mike's has a "flush mount" sling swivel that is quick-detach with a pushbutton, leaving a metal shell flush with the wood of the stock. The shell has to be epoxied into a drilled hole, and installation of this type is a little more difficult than the standard stud.

There is no reason why the side-mounted from sling loop cannot be used for a supported sling position. The sling just wraps back up and around a little more, is all.
