I may be able to modify a 1911 link, but I'll also check with the Spanish gun collectors on Gunboards.

Please do not take me out of context so completely and willfully. I have not said word one about your Colt or your search for parts.

And if I thought I knew where you might get parts, I'd tell you- obviously I just tried to help in this case now didn't I. Why you want to portray me like this is not clear to me, but I'll thank you to stop. I did not cause your problem and I did not make light of it.

DMK, what size is your Colt?
Is it the size of a government 1911 or a commander? The reason I ask is that I have barrel links for the Llama
.380 smaller 1911 pistols. If your link is not full sized they might fit.
What length is your link?
