Of those listed I only have experience with Glock and Sig. I've carried a Glock as a duty weapon for 22 years. Reliable, durable, accurate enough but never fell in love with it.
My experience with the SIG is limited but really like it much more than the Glock. My agency has issued the Glock for well over 23-24 years. All officers recently test fired the SIG. When the smoke cleared those with a preference voted for the SIG over the Glock by almost a 2-1 margin.

So tough...
I have a Grey Guns P320F (TacOPS), that I absolutely love as a shooter. But, I also have a couple of Glock 19s - both Gen4, one MOS w/RMR. There is so much aftermarket support for Glocks, they are like the ARs of the pistol world and I love that about them. Well that, and I can shoot them well too. My EDC is a 19, but my "joy to shoot", gun on this list is the 320. |

Nothing on the list.
My favorite striker fired pistol is the Luger P.08!

There should have been an option for not liking ANY striker-fired pistol.

I voted Glock, but mine's a 23. Do have a KKM 9mm conversion barrel for when I want to shoot 9mm.

Of the choices available I voted PPQ. Of the ones I own it depends. Either a Walther P99 AS or an FNS 9/FNS 9c. All superb pistols IMO. But this may change if I ever get a CZ P-10c.

favorite striker fired pistol
I guess I will get some grief on this one but none of the ones in the poll for me. I've never tried the M&P and for some reason Glocks don't suit me. My favorite is the S&W SW9 and it's .40 cal cousin. I have each and they both function perfectly and are effective as far as I would need them to be. The SW doesn't weigh much and is small enough to carry small of the back as I prefer. I have others but for general carry and home defense that's the one for me.

I can't see the poll using Tapatalk but apparently Glock and M&P are on the list.
I started with Glocks and switched to M&P after purchasing my first one. I have only had factory triggers on both brands and have never had any complaint about either of them. |

M&P 40 Pro, shoots so smooth it feels like a 9! I'm really not a huge .40 fan, it's actually the only one I own. I think if S&W made a mid sized M&P it might replace my G19

Glock the first and only...for me.
It points perfectly for me, I love the grip angle. The M&P9c that I had felt like it would slip out of my hand whilst firing. The Glock 17/19 just locks perfectly into my mitt. It is the original and I think the best option for me. |

Howdy - post #2 for me. I have a Glock 26, a Sig P228 and P320, all in 9mm. The P320 in the "Carry" size. They all carry well on the hip, though the stock P320 Kydex holster sucks. The 26 will ankle carry, the Sigs will not.
From a form factor standpoint, as well as aesthetics, the P320 wins hands down, IMO. The P228 is beautiful and the Glock is buttugly. Of all 3, so far I think my P228 is the preferred concealed carry, in terms of accuracy. The P320 has a 2 shot advantage (I think). After 15 years of carrying my P228, I have been carrying the P320 for 2 months and don't have nearly the rounds the P228 has through it. The P228 definitely has the win on SA trigger feel. The P320 has a better DA pull though. I am still working on finding the right "trigger feel". Jury is still out... GP5K Last edited by Ghostpepper5K; February 14, 2017 at 07:18 PM. |
