Appreciate it everyone! Update: theres still grease and stuff on it because I have no cleaner yet, lol. Pictures (crappy): Last edited by Kazaam; November 2, 2012 at 07:46 PM. |

Congratulations! I don't own a CZ, but everything that I've read says that they're nice. I look forward to the range report.

Ahh a CZ. Definitely a great place to start off with if I do say so myself.
My first gun was a CZ 85B and I grabbed a Kadet 2 kit to convert it to .22 for extra practice. Those all steel frames are pretty hefty after 200 rounds down range, but feel so so solid. Enjoy man, hope it serves you as well as mine has me. These guns are starving and eat everything you feed them at least in my experience. |

Sheriff, are the kadet 2 and kadet kit the same thing?
Thanks for all the kind words people! I'm beyond excited. The way I understand it, dry firing will improve the trigger, right? I'm just gonna keep doing it until I go to the range. |

I believe the kadet 2 has a few minor changes to make them work with more models of their pistols.
I love my CZs, and I want an SP-01 in 9mm... my other two are a bit flashy being nickel and dual tone. A straight black pistol is needed too. |

KAZAAM - You have set me off on another tangent of thought. Every time I do my reading and check prices and look at my paycheck and say to myself, "Myself, I might be able to save up and get that one." and then you put up great pictures of your new one and now I'm saying to myself " CZ???? HMMM??? Maybe...." What a fine looking piece you have. Enjoy.

Not only a 'first' pistol, but probably one you'll keep for a long time. My 75bd survived a dozen buy/sell cycles until the P01 came along. Don't forget the 15# Wolff hammer spring!

Thanks everyone! Sorry if I make you spend more money!
My brother in law, a "glock guy," loved how it felt in his hand. It really does have remarkable ergonomics. Even my sister was ok holding it, though she thought it was heavy (she's a weakling). |
