Mine would be a Smith & Wesson .38 Double Action Top Break Revolver, 4th model, 6 inch barrel, made 1899-1909.

A pin fire double gun from the 1850's is second oldest.
Oldest is the Whitney rifle made under government contract in 1798 when Jefferson was president. It's missing a screw and a band, and yes it was converted from flint to cap in the 1800's -- but it will still fire. |

I have an ancient cannon dating back to the Jurassic period. It was presumably used for hunting dinosaurs and large insects.

My oldest is a Colt 1903 (made in 1907) in .32acp. It's a fun gun to shoot and is one of the few my wife will actually shoot outside of my .22s.

My oldest is a Schmidt-Rubin 1911 that was made in 1913. Next oldest is a US Model of 1917 that was made in 1917. I very much enjoy shooting both rifles.

Mine is a 1896 Swede 6.5x55 from 1916, a beautiful shooter.
