Need a new light
I would like a compact, ruggad, bright, and affordable flashlight. I dont want cheap but it is unbelieveable to me that surfire is selling handheld flashlights for 500 bucks. Anyone know of a good one for under 100?

im sure there is quite a few decent lights for under 100 to choose from.
heres one. http://www.batteryjunction.com/fenix-tk15.html might want to pick up some batteries and charger also if you decide to go rechargable at the same time. if you want cheaper try here http://www.lighthound.com/Solarforce_c_168.html pick out a host in the battery config you want and a drop in for the voltage you need. by going this route you have a few more choices in modes add accesories ive had a couple of solarforce cree r5 drop ins with the smooth reflector and so far they have been doing well for over a year, bright, good throw and runtime. |

Like you, I wanted a decent flashlight. It needed to be small, bright, with good battery life, and affordable. I've got a couple, with the favorite being a Browning. The newest flashlight, and I bought it just to see if it was as good as advertised, was a Primos. It didn't cost much, though I can't remember the price (less than $70 for sure and I think it was less than $50) and it's real bright. And, it uses 'normal' batteries - AA size. So far, I'm impressed.

Best light made for the money. I have had one for several years with no problem.
Read the reviews at Amazon.com on this light. Fenix PD30 Amazon.com Last edited by shootniron; October 16, 2011 at 07:18 PM. |
