Redfield being built by Leupold!
Don't know if this is new news or not but I got an email from Leupold introducing their Redfield scopes. I really like my old Denver made Redfield rifle scopes and would be willing to give these new ones a shot. Wasn't impressed by any of the Redfield scopes after the Denver models.

Redfield by Leupold
Internally they are supposed to be equal in quality to the Leupold line...the finish is a bit different matte.

I've got an old Redfield Wide angle scope on my Game Master remmy and I'm very happy with it, but I couldn't tell you where it was made. My pop put it on the rifle some time around 1972 give or take a few years. I've always been very impressed with it, but don't know enough about optics to know the difference between good and mediocre.
