Gun and Ammo Shortage

None of the stores in my area have any 9mm ammo. The shooting ranges are jam packed. Guns are flying off the shelves. The FBI background checks are processing record number of applicants.

Anyone else noticing this?

Yeah..everyone is panicking. I don't want to say what I really want to say in respect to this forum.

Even people who weren't gun owners months ago, are now. When guys like us who have been around this stuff since birth are left scratching our heads.

Unfortunately, I renewed my interest in shooting about a month before the CT shootings. The gun I wanted to buy (shield 9mm) was hard to find before but now it's impossible and ammo is hard to find for the guns I do have. Hopefully the people that are hording will run out of disposable income and stocks will replenish soon.

Nope, no one has said word one about it here at TFL...

We don't need yet another thread on what's going on retail wise, there are more than enough brewing.

Please post replies to one of those threads, such as this one: http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=510227

Closed.
