I saw a similiar thread a long time ago and had replied to that, but anyway the list is a lot shorter now that I have started to thin the herd. Now, some I have not reloaded in years but I have the dies and the parts to put together the rounds so I count them still until the gun or the dies get sold (i.e. the 8mm-08 or .300 Savage)
.218 Bee .204 Ruger .22 Hornet .222 Remington .223 .243 Win .243 Ackley Improved .244 (aka 6mm) Remington .22-250 .25-06 .257 Roberts .270 Wetherby mag .270 Win .7mm-08 .7mm Rem Mag .7mm TCU .280 .300 Savage .300 Weatherby mag .300 Win Mag .308 .30-06 .303 Brit 8MM Mauser 8mm-06 8mm-08 8mm Mag .338 Win Mag .35 Whelen .35 Remington .350 Remington Mag .45-70 .45-90 .416 Rigby 9x18 9x19 .38SPL .38S&W .357 Sig .357 Mag .40 S&W .10mm .41 Mag .44 SPL .44 Mag .45 ACP .45 LC .500 Linebaugh .500 S&W 10ga 12ga 16ga 20ga 28ga .410 Oh yeah foregot to mention these: 30/30 .444 marlin .450 marlin .348 Winchester 7MM mauser 6.5x55 Swede And the best for last (because I loaded them tonight and remembered I had not put it down here) The .338 LAPUA MAG for when you want almost the power of .50 but not the huge freaking gun that goes with it.

Wow!
Only; .223 .303 .308 30-06 I was reloading for my new to me Garand this afternoon. I got one through "The Garand Guy", exellent, beautiful rifle with a Criterion Barrel. It looks like a new rifle. I installed a "Shuster Adjustible Gas Plug", ran a few clips through the rifle of factory loads to adjust it and sight it in. I full length sized my once fired rem brass, ran them through my Lyman case gauge, all good. The primmers were all a tad below the base. Weighed out a powder charge of 41.5gr of Varget and pressed in a 180gr Sierra Game King and stopped short to check OAL with my nice digital micrometer. My first 30-06 loaded round. The read-out on the micrometer was blinking, when I got near 2.990" the read-out dropped to 2.400". Time to change the battery. Theres no batteries the right size in town! Doggone it! The nearest batteries are in Anchorage. Good thing is my wife will be back from Anchorage on Friday My moral to this story; If you live in a bush vilage don't buy a digital micrometer. |
