Kimber K6s-Federal HST Micro 38spl+P-Chronograph Results

This ammunition is supposed to be 830fps, before purchasing anymore as my carry ammunition I wanted to see real world results across the chronograph.

I'm sure you are aware already, but here are two that youtube videos showing their test results. The first one is the one to convince me to try and carry the HST.

Thanks for the video's great to see the expansion. I think I will try it out of my K6S in some gel. I really did not think it would even be close to that velocity out of my 2inch, was contemplating the 3in K6s but it is not visually appealing to me.

Thanks for posting...
I carry the 38SPL HST in my two Charter snubbies... I found its recoil mild when compared to Remington 125 gr +P ...

I tested the same ammo in my S&W 642 with ~2" barrel. Averaged 826 FPS. Similar to your results, and to velocities I've seen when testing factory .38 125 +P in the 2" barrel.

Although I really like HSTs in my 9s, 40s, and 45s, I'm not really sold on these 38s. Was really expecting more. Certainly not impressive enough for me to dump my old school 158gr LHP +P.
