Anyone See the New CZ P-01 Omega Convertible?

I have been awaiting eagerly the new CZ P-01 Omega Convertible - you can switch back and forth between a decocker and a manual safety - but I have not seen one yet.

Has anyone seen one in the wild yet? Has it even been imported into the country?

I'm told by one LGS that sells a lot of CZ's that the few that had come in were sold the same day. I tried to order one and the LGS wouldn't take the order until they could confirm a delivery date, I'm still waiting.

Still haven't seen one! How long has it been since it was announced?

This post is 10 months old and I did see a 9mm P-01 Omega about 10 months ago but it was finished in O.D. Green, although I didn't like that finish I should have bought it then since I haven't seen one since.

It's a unicorn. I ended up buying a P07 because the P01 Omega is unobtanium.

I was able to secure a CZ p01 omega convertible this weekend at a gun show near Tampa for an excellent price. The dealer actually had 2 of em and I grabbed one as soon as I saw it. Very sweet piece

I am on my local waiting list for a CZ-P10 C with a threaded barrel, have not even heard of the Omega. I just purchased my first CZ, a Scorpion carbine. I would be super happy if CZ would have a standard magazine in 9mm that fit all their pistols and the Scorpion carbine.

Almost all CZ's are unicorns these days.....Looks like we're going be forced to buy various clones. All I want is to find a SP-01 locally in stock.

Because of the 15 rd. mag cap limit law here in CO you only rarely see the CZ P-07, the 75B's won't sell with 10rd factory mags. I shipped my own 75B with 16rd mags from PA since I was an exclusion to the CO mag cap law, since I had purchased the pistol in PA as a PA resident.

Two weeks ago, I saw a brand new shadow and an Omega ,new side by side at the local gun store. They wanted list price or better. I guess I know why now. I'm one of the few men alive who saw unicorns en-masse. Tempting.

I finally have a CZ P-01 Omega Convertible. Quick observations. The trigger pull is fairly good, but there is some creep, especially in single action. The ergonomics of the new trigger is excellent. Currently mine is in the decocker mode, and I have not yet tried converting it into the safety mode. Unfortunately the manual is near useless, and doesn't explain in detail how to do so.

there are plenty of good youtube vids that show you how to do it..I'am going to leave mine in the decocker mode. I have a 75B with a safety ..decocker is better

Why do you need a decocker?

I don't know about the poster above but...

I like running a decocker on my CC and HD pistols. It's nice to just drop the hammer and go.

For my range pistols I like having the manual cocked and locked safety. I'm not loading them inside or depending on them in a life saving situation.

I'm wanting a P-01 now but with a safety like my 75.

Hi Pilot

just prefer to have the hammer dropped to 1/2 cocked position. I don't mind the heavier trigger pull on the 1st shot. Personal preference I guess

I understand, but if you can't find an Omega, you may want to pick another CZ-75 based variant even if it is a safety model. You can safely use your thumb to decock these pistols to the half cock notch, or all the way down, and shoot them first shot DA if you want. That is how I carry mine (half cock notch). In fact my PCR is decocker only, and it is one of my favorites, but I do prefer a safety over the decocker. YMMV.

Ouch! 75B omega urban grey, suppressor ready, de-cocker. I succumbed and put one on the plan. I like the de-cocker manual of arms of my Sigs, so this will probably stay as built. The shadow was still there. It was north of a grand, the 75b omega was under six hundred.
