Which autoloader?

Looking for a good trap, skeet, sporting clays, etc. As well as a good waterfowl (mostly ducks and canadian geese) autoloader. I've been looking at multiple shotguns (all 12 ga) and id love to hear everyone's opinion. Heres my list from what I like the most (so far) to what I like the least but wouldn't NOT consider it:
1. Remington 1100 (possibly magnum)
2. Beretta 390 (at wal mart)
3. Mossberg 930 or 935
4. Remington 1187 (possibly super magnum)
5. Franchi Infinity

Of all these which would you pick and why? Which is most reliable? Most versatile? Also if you have any other shotguns you would recommend please do and tell me why you like that gun. I'd like to keep this purchase under $700 but I could maybe spend about $100 or so more (or less of course). Thanks

The only one listed that I have any experience with is the 11/87. I owned one once for a few years. I prolly put 1000 shells through it while I had it and it never did skip a beat. It cycles 2 3/4" shells just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I were so inclined.

I've put a lot of rounds through an 1100 and 11-87, and several through various beretta's. I would let the fit and feel be your guide. The rem's dont fit me the same as the berettas do, I have to shoot low on birds to hit them with the beretta, but thats a personal fit thing.

Do you need 3-1/2 shells for ducks and Canadian geese and, if so, I believe some of the ones on your list are chambered for 3".

3 1/2 shells are not needed for either if I heard correctly its just it helps for when a big flock of geese comes in. I knocked a goose down with a 3" 2 shot blind side shell but I had to finish her off with a second shot. Thanks everybody for your replys. Does anybody know anymore info regarding these auto loaders?

For anything from clay pigeons to geese an 1100 is not your ticket unless you stockpile as many parts and barrels as I have. An 11-87 will go from 2-3/4" to 3" so that is an option. There are a slew of guns out there these days that would fit your requirements, and we can all tell you how we like ours, but that doesn't address which one feels best to you.

I for one have owned an 11-87 and still own my mossberg 930, the 930 is lighter and for me seams to shoulder and point better.(this could be due to the stock shims included with a new 930) my 930 has and continues to be exposed to everything from rain to snow and every game animal from squirrel to whitetail deer, never has it jammed or failed me yet. However I also second virginians comment about fit and feel to you as an individual. I reccomend you find as many of your above offerings as you can and trying them for yourself. 1 390
2 930
3 1100(older version with rem-chokes)
4 Infinity
5 11-87

I hunt ducks and geese, brought home 177 ducks last season, about 20 geese, and I never used a 3 1/2" shell.

I can testify as well to either Remington models. Have server my family well for a generation now.

The Beretta A390 is an excellent shotgun, I own 3, I have 3 sons when we all shoot they get the 390s and I shoot a 391. None have ever failed me. The only Remington I've owned is a 20 GA Wingmaster. You may be able to find a used 391 for just a little more than a Walmart A390. Make sure you get all the chokes on a used gun. Be safe.
