Age of my old jc higgins

Ok I have an old 16 gauge pump shotgun and the only things stamped on it is jc higgins 102.25 sears and rorebuck co and the chamber length there are no serial numbers or anything I would really like to know about how old it is or atleast what years they produced them it is the later model single hump stevens 520a iv found outnot the double hump if that helps

It was made anywhere from 1920, when Stevens switched from the double-hump to the single-hump in the Model 520, to the 1932 discontinuance.

Savage/Stevens didn't keep SN records - but you "might" be able to obtain ($$) a more definitive DOM by contacting a fella named Callahan in Mass (google), who has some sort of factory ledgers, IIRC.
