Bringing foreign gun home from out of the country?
Is there a process or is it even possible to bring guns, long or handguns, back to the US with me? I'll be out of the country on a ship and we have a few firearms onboard for security and I'd like to bring them back home with me to get them repaired.
The two I have in mind are nothing exotic. One is a mossberg mariner and the second is a glock but it's a .380 which I don't think are imported to the states. Don't want to have issues with CBP when we clear the boat in.

https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/det...rm,-rifle,-gun,
You have to prove to them that you own it before you leave the country, fill out the forms, etc. Of course, they say the guns have to be for hunting purposes, so I think you need to call them. |
