Why are Federal 3" 00 buckshot shells made with steel now? Brass getting a little short in supply? And will this make any difference in operation? I still have 40-50 of the old brass rounds.

Are you talking about the case heads? I noticed that Winchester is doing this too with their lower priced shells. Haven't checked their "Higher End" Shells. I picked up a 15 round box of slugs from Wal-Mart, they have brass heads and were only $5.97 for box of 15. Might go pick up 3 more boxes for that price. Just a thought. Gator
