NAA Ranger 22 Magnum

I've been looking at the NAA (Magnum) Rangers lately...I have an NAA Magnum that has both cylinders...I do shoot it occasionally but I change the cylinders depending on the ammo...
My question is..can LR's be fired in a Magnum cylinder...I think the LR case is thinner in diameter
tnx

.22 LR has a case diameter of .226" and a rim diameter of .278".

.22 WMR has a case diameter of .242" and a rim diameter of .294".

.22 LR uses a heeled bullet, so the case diameter is (essentially) the same as the bullet diameter. .22 Magnum does NOT use a heeled bullet, so the case has to be larger in diameter than the bullet. .22 Short/Long/LR should not be fired in .22 magnum firearms.

What you want is WRF ammo to tame a 22 mag gun. It fits perfectly, takes it down to 22 lr ballistics.

I wonder why that .22 mag ammo is labeled "not for use in revolvers"

It's right there on the webpage: "Most 22 WRF revolvers have undersized bores that cannot use a jacketed bullet".
