I'm baaaack!

Hey Ya'll,

Finally got settled in Mcminnville TN. Just got internet hooked up today. Love it up here. Now I just got to find some smoke friendly ranges to go too. I'm about to die to burn some powder. And why yes I have broke out the smoke poles and fondled them regularly Good to be back.

What was it prompted the move to TN?

Well we always vacationed in TN as much as possible. So we just took the plunge and headed west.

Welcome Back! I hope you find someplace close to there that will let you burn powder.

It looks like you are less than 100 miles from Dixie Gun Works.

Oh yeah, you're right I haven't even thought of that. That will have to be a trip to take.

Welcome back! You'll have to be sure to give us a report on your field trip to Dixie when you take it! Seems like TN ought to be ripe and full of BP shooters!?

I sure will Billy, I just got off the phone with a super friendly Fella that runs Viola Shooting range, and its only 11 miles from the house. He told me I will be right at home out there, lots of sulphur in the air LOL. I'm super excited now. I will take the trip to Dixie after Christmas. I do not want to go in there right now the kids may not get that trampoline if I do

Looked at some photos.....

range shooting

One of the reasons I am so content out here in Wyoming.
Just about anyplace out in the county is shooting range.
I live in the county, I can walk out my back door and just pop a few.
Dug a pit in side of small hill. Piled the dirt up. Back stop has a total height of about 5'
Stacked some straw bales. Set target on ground in front and boom.
Keep the straw covered with a tarp while not shooting.
Just designed a target box, that should collect all the lead from my revolver.
Might have to go a little deeper for the rifle.
When you get to DGW, try not to buy them out. We want some too!
Have fun in your new home!
