Some may have read my post over at "the art of the rifle"(Actions: BDL vs.ADL vs. Model7 (differences)) where I got some good info.
I feel that as far as future modifications I'll go w/ an ADL in .308. I was wondering if it is possible to modify the ADL so it can accept detach mags like a BDL DM.(reason for this route...Rem. doesn't make any current BDL DM models in .308 Win. I think all that's avail. in BDL models anymore are long actions.) |

Strabs, yes you can do this. I've done two this past year for folks. You have to inlet the stock of course and add the DM parts. If you want to do it yourself Brownells sells a kit in either 22-250 or 308 for $185. www.brownells.com. But if you'd rather have it done, just e-mail me. George
