9mm Luger and Blue Dot

I've got some blue dot powder here and I noticed that my load data had a load for blue dot and 115 gr bullets. I was wondering if anyone has any experience loading 9mm with blue dot and what their experience with it had been. I loaded 7.8 grains of blue dot with a 115 gr montana gold bullet.

I loaded 7.6 grains of blue dot with 115 grain plated round nose 9mm from Berry's. That load is a bit hotter than a factory 115 gr fmj. I was getting a 3 inch grouping at 25 feet free hand with a Ruger SR9.

Blue Dot is bit too slow for this round especially with light projectiles. I could never get it to burn cleanly enough with 115gr in 9mm. It is best to use it with heavier bullets, and it is very accurate in my 10mm with 165gr and 180gr bullets
