357 Sig setback testing 38/357 mag f/l sizer crimp

So I posted a while back about the amount of setback that is okay on the 357 Sig. Mainly with the 125 gr gold dots. My gun gets unchambered quite frequently due to barrel swaps. 9, 40, 357 Sig.

Well playing around the other night, I tried a different approach for a crimp. With a bullet seated, I ran the case up into a 38/357 mag sizer die just to the shoulder. It measured .380/.381 from the case mouth to the where the neck meets shoulder.

15 chamberings later, only set back was .004. Overall when first loaded was 1.142, moved down to 1.139/1.138

I would say in my testing I've found my new crimp die lol.

Test first as YMMV.
