I'm looking for a good flashlight for my 22 LR rifle
I'm looking for a good flashlight for my 22 LR rifle, the flashlight has to fit a Picatinny rail.
When looking for a good flashlight, what I'm I looking for....spread out light or a straight beam of light? I would appreciate your help on locating one, please post flashlight site and link. Thanks so much, bobbart |

Kind of depends on how far you need it to shine.
How do you want to use it? And how wide is the gun receiver and forend?

For home defense a wide beam would seem to be best.
Illuminate as much area as possible. Although, just turning on the house lights might be better. A flashlight gives your position away. House lights don't.

Check out mrgunsngear youtube channel. Here's one he recently did for handguns, but it shouldn't matter what gun you're putting it on.
