NEF 243- any handload suggestions?

I just got into reloading this winter. At present, I plan to reload 243 Win. for my NEF. Does anyone have some suggestions for accurate loads in the 55-75 gr range. I have tried factory 90 and 100 gr. Win and Rem. ammo with bad results. I would appreciate any help from personal experience or from links on the web.

I haven't tried any light bullets yet, but I have a 1-9" Reminton 700 and I get decent accuracy and spectacular varmint results with the Nosler 80 grain using 38 grains of Varget. It does nasty damage to prairie dogs.

I have the same gun for my grandson and have great success using Hodgens H4831 40.0grains with the Hornady 100gr interloc, shoots 1 inch 5 shot groups at 100yds.

I use the same bullet Hornadys 100gr interlock FB/BT,42 RL19, Fed goldmatch GM210M/CCImag primers, Lee factory crimp, using my scoped Rem 700 all weather, using this load shoots one hole benched at 100 yards, great load for this rifle, Im pleased to see the type of accuracy from a Remington off the shelf rifle.
Aim small hit small. RAMbo.

Does anyone out there know the rate of twist in a NEF 243, standard 22" stainless barrel? I could call the company, but who wants to spend 10 minutes on hold!

I don't know the twist rate, but you can figure it out pretty quickly with a cleaning brush. Just push it through and measure how far you have to go to get one complete rotation.
