WW Greener shotgun
I have a Greener shotgun that I have been unable to get much info on, It is a side lever 10ga serial number 13191. I have been told that it was built before 1875 but have been unable to come up with a exact year. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would also like to see if there is anyone out there shooting Bismuth shot and black powder, so far I have had real good luck with this shotgun and Bismuth.

The only information I was able to come up with was a blue book description.
Current manufacturer established in 1829 and located in Hagley, England, with sales and administration offices located in Wiltshire, England. No current U.S. importation. Until 1994, Gibbs Rifle Co. located in Martinsburg, WV was the U.S. agent. Seems that for the older discontinued models, they made single shots only in 12ga and S/S models in 12ga with only one model in 8ga or 10ga called a FARKILLER GRADE F35 LARGE BORE. If this is what you have, suggested blue book prices go from $1650 for 60% (with no auto ejectors) up to $3575 for 100% with auto ejectors. Now, I don't know what you have without seeing it for myself nor what condition it is in so take this with a grain of salt. |
