Good luck. I'm using QuickLoad software, but there's a serious error in their .38 S&W data. They have the pressure limit set to 17000/18500(+P) instead of 14000.
I have some .38 S&W brass on backorder from Cabela's. I just finished loading some cut-down .38 Special cases a few minutes ago to see if I could load them using 9mm Luger dies. It worked just fine, although that doesn't mean it will work with real .38SW brass. The trick is finding .360"+ bullets. I think .358" HBWC loaded with half the bullet hanging out the case might work. I had a Lee bullet mold that dropped 160 grain bullets at .362" and I sent it back, not thinking that it might be useful someday.

38 S&W
I read your thread on the 38 S&W. I know nothing about the caliber except when I cleaned out my stash of 25+ years I found a box of Remington 146 grain lead cartridges. Is this a popular round? I am guessing I picked these up many years ago without looking, thinking they were 38 special which I do shoot. Just wondering how popular this round really is. Thanks

Bullet for 38 S&W
Remington makes a 0.358 diameter 158 grain LSWC bullet with a concave base that would probably work well in this round. The concave base should "blow out" and make the bullet fit the bore. This bullet has 3 cannelures instead of 2. Midway has them periodically.
