Steel shoot
Been reading up on IDPA with interest. Now I see one of the local clubs advertising a "steel shoot". Can anyone fill me in on what that's all about. Is it the same thing as silhouette shooting?
Thanks |

Probably not.
Metallic Silhouette is shot at long to very long range - 50 to 200 meters - mostly with single shots in rifle calibers. Separate class for revolvers. Steel Shooting is probably going to be like the Steel Challenge; speed shooting at plates and poppers at short to medium range - 7 to 35 yards. |
