gun cart plans

I'm thinkiong of building my own cart, more to customize than to save
money. Anyone know a source for plans? I'd like to look over a few
to get some ideas.

I just looked at what everyone else had at our club and basically built what I needed. Will probably build another one over the winter.
A quick Wisenut search brought this page up http://wisenut.com/search/query.dll?...+cart%22+plans

Gun Cart Plans

Check out the latest issue of the SASS Newspaper. I bought plans for a donkey out of there and made a grey suit out of fur fabric and has been the talk of all the meets that I go to. It's a blast. At the Illinois regional, a fellow told me he used a real donkey, but it stopped haulin the gear about halfway thru. He ended up haulin the stuff the rest of the way, plus the donkey!

I have thought some and I think I would start with one of the cheap china made two wheeler rigs that you can get from several places. Most are less than $30 and you could build any style holder you wanted especially if you have a welder. Another thought is go to your local Goodwill place and check out the used golf carts. I find them usually for about $15 and again you can modify them for gun carry. They also fold up which might be a plus.

I've got a line on an old dynamite crate that's been made into a toolbox
about 2ftX15"X15" and also a good source for wood wagon wheels, thinking
about designing a cart around them.
