Tanfoglio EAA Witness 45acp

I wanted a 45acp with better sights than my GI 1911. I won this for a $250 bid on Gunbroker. It doesn't seem to have been fired much. Forgive the poor-quality cell phone picture.

This big pistol fits my extra-large hands very well. The sights are nice and large. The trigger is good. I was shooting smaller handguns at seven yards, so that's the distance I shot this one at, too. After adjusting my POA for a few shots I felt like I shot it pretty well, given my middle-aged eyes and so forth.

You stole it! Great buy on a very nice pistol, I think.

I have three Tanfoglios and like them a lot!

I've been told that these polymer ones take the same magazine as the steel ones. The magazines are easy to find, but I've had trouble finding one with the little plastic "sleeve", other than going through EAA and paying an arm and a leg. Does anyone have a suggestion for that?
