And just think, last Summer you could score more rounds for less than fifteen bucks in Academy Sports.

Good buy. It's nice to find an occasional good deal on ammo, because it doesn't happen often. Last month I bought 320 rounds of .44 Magnums for 125.00. Prices like these are from the good old days.

With Thunderbolts just remember to have your gun cleaning kit handy.

I can't believe I'm getting envious over Remington ammo.

So does my Buckmark.. in a 10 round mag about 4 rounds at least will FTE or FTF or some other malfunction.. take your pic.

And it IS dirty.. my hands were covered in residue after 100 rounds or so.. in my Browning.. Thunderbolts were absolutely horrible.. i would have had better success rates in firing them if i just threw them at my target.

Good score! My AR22 would eat that all day long! I do save the good stuff for my Savage FS VR, suppressed.

It's a shame that this ammo shortage is resulting in this being considered a deal. Rem. IMO is some of the most dud prone/ heavily fouling/ Dirty loose ammo that is out today-(especially the thunderbolts). However any ammo is better then no ammo.

When it rains it pours. Thanks for the input. I'm disappointed to here about the ammo. Thank god the Marine Corps taught me how to clean a gun. So, Shooting these through my Mark II is like running 87 octane gas in a car that requires 93 octane for peak performance. It is going to run, but lack performance.

Pick this up this morning. 50.00 Sealed brick.

What's this world coming too? Paying three times too much for trashy ammol. Lol maybe you wouldn't be as happy to bought this overpriced mess if you would have learned your lesson from the last four years. O well some people never learn.

Glad to see you have some ammo but I fail to see how either of those are a bargin...

it also perplexes me how lots of gun owners never have any ammo... Seems short sighted to say the least.

i try to keep @ least 1k per caliber don't try to dip below that as a reserve. Seems to be the minimum I go down to if I can help it. Except .22LR I like @ least 5k of that.

That seems to be enough to keep me happy until the famine is over.

Same here. I have around 6.5k of .22lr with 5k of that being subsonic stuff. I reload for my handguns but I buy my rifle ammo. Having said that, I really have shot very little since this whole mess began. I've resorted to not going to indoor ranges and only shoot outdoors, its more enjoyable and I find myself taking my time and focusing on each shot, so my ammo lasts longer.

That makes me feel good about the brick of Federal American Eagle I picked up for $25 Friday (the first .22LR I've seen in SC in over 3 months). And at $25, I still felt like I was getting slightly ripped off.

I don't understand why no one seems to be reloading 22lrs? I have it all figured out except the primers. I am trying to come up with some kind of chemical to pour into each round, that will incinerate when it breaks up, from a hammer strike. So far, I know about 5k ways it will not work....

Winchester, You be the man. Please have someone forward me a copy of your accidental death reporting.

I will be saddened to hear about it, but the report should be an interesting read.

It's so funny when somebody is so proud to pick up some 22lr ammo.

TBS, I guess although I have plenty, I should have, could have, would have....
