Mosins these days
I sold my well-used, corroded-bore m44 for a hundred bucks at a gunshow recently. Saw lots of crusty beaters for around 150. Whats with the prices? I just got a sweet Finn m39 for 150!

Sounds like you did well, both in selling and buying!

Yeah! I'd give $150 for a good M39 with Matching Numbers.

I picked up one in good condition for about $120 some months back. They've seemed to have dried up since; I don't think I've seen any in the last few shows I've gone to.
Nice to hear there are still some out there. edit: M44, that is.

Three weeks ago, the show at Southaven MS had zero Mosins on Saturday.
My buddies, who have bought/sold numerous MNs and SKS noticed this very quickly. Last edited by Ignition Override; January 16, 2010 at 03:14 AM. |
