So even though the facts are wrong we should still restrict gun laws in the US.

Brilliant!

But Tom Diaz, senior policy analyst at the Violence Policy Center, called the "90 percent" issue a red herring and said that it should not detract from the effort to stop gun trafficking into Mexico.
Ignore the fact that they have been promoting a lie, just go along with their assumption. :barf:

Should of added...

...that I didn't post this to start a political debate but to get the information out as an attack on our rights, not by any particular party or affiliation, just an attack. Hope this keeps it from getting locked, but if not, okay.

Our government is certainly aware of the rampant corruption within the Mexican government and military, yet we continue to provide them with money, military weapons and training, including all of the military weapons mentioned earlier in this article and shown in film clips by the mainstream media as proof positive we need a new Assault Weapons Ban. (AWB)

Our corrupt government, cooperating with Mexico’s equally corrupt government, has embarked on a campaign to deprive American citizens of the means to defend ourselves from tyranny, screening their own involvement in arming violent criminal drug cartels. We can weakly submit, or stand for truth and liberty; the choice is ours.

Focus on the substance not the source. It wouldn't matter to me where this article came from whether it be MSNBC, CNN, or Fox etc..

Oh man, I always though every piece of info that came from the media and/or politicians was worth its weight in gold. I'm going to have to totally re-vamp my thought process now to include thinking for myself and critical analysis.

But really, I've heard trash and incorrect reporting coming from both sides. Remember that story a while back about those miners trapped in the coal mine. Initial reports: all alive except 1. Actual total: all dead except 1. Oops.

"anything with "foxnews" and "politics" in the link get a : :barf:"

So you're saying, then, that because of the source, the information is incorrect?

Your basis for that statement is what?

Your facts to prove that the story on Fox is false are what?

You've raise the issue. Time to put up.

"Remember that story a while back about those miners trapped in the coal mine. Initial reports: all alive except 1. Actual total: all dead except 1. Oops."

And that was traced to erroneous information that the networks received from a mine representative, who MISUNDERSTOOD what he received from rescue workers at the mine itself.

The mine representative even told the families that all of the people but one were alive, setting of a massive celebration at the church where they had gathered to sit vigil.

The media is to be faulted for reporting that as breaking news... how?
