H335 with cast loads in 45-70

Anyone got an older load book for a 400 grain gas checked cast bullet for a Marlin 1895. Picked up a lb verses h322 by mistake. Lyman 50th no loads. Hodgdon nothing. I’m thinking Lyman 47th May have had some from what I’ve googled.

for the 385-405 bullets it is saying h322 min load is 50.0 gr @1750,,,,max is 54.0@1852

looks like that powder can be used for 300gr bullets all the way too 500gr,,,,

I appreciate that. I’ve got books with lots of loads for h322. Only load for h335 was in a Lee manual and it’s a 300 javcketed.

The text in red is where I found my accuracy node....47.5 gr. H335 with the 405 gr bullet.

That should work. I use NOE mold 460-390. Sized to .459 for my rifle. Bullets usually cast at around 385-388 grains an gas checked. Also water quenched.
Are you shooting out of a Marlin? I got a friend that loves this powder but he shoots a 485 grain out of a Ruger #1.

The powder works really good with the heavy bullets, but I have only used it with the 405 & 500 grain bullets.

I do not have a Marlin 1895. I have a Henry H010CC.

Also, if you have accuracy problems, try magnum primers.

It would be great if someone had a screen shot of the page from whatever manual you are using. 400 grain or 405 grain. I pretty much have to work from there to find the load.
