Stopped by my local Turner's yesterday and looked through the ammo and saw Speer 158grn. 38Spl.+P in FMJ. I had never seen this before, and was wondering if anyone has used it with positive results.

Andy, back in the 70s Lee Jurras of AutoMag fame got together with the guys at Speer and came up with what they called Lawman ammo. From what little I shot of it, I found it to be fairly accurate for factory fodder and it was hotter than standard. I guess you could call it the first +P ammo. This is all from memory so I may not be totally accruate but that's the way I remember it. I haven't seen any for a long time. George
