38 spec
hello all, i am about to load some 38 spec loads and came across a few(12) cases that were .004 to .008 too short for my "trim to length" is it still o.k. to use them? and will i have to adjust my die to crimp these?

They should be fine. Most don't ever bother to measure .38 Special cases. .004 to .008 should not effect your crimp that much at all, just keep an eye on making sure you are still getting a slight roll on the edge.

I never measure .38 Special cases. +1 to the crimp, as long as you have some crimp, you are good to go. It's a .38 handgun, not a competition 1000 yard rifle and any inaccuracy imparted by the case differences is going to be far less than the inaccuracy of the shooter!
